Elvira "Tommie" Lee Clark Rowe

Tommie was born April 10, 1928 in Catawba Co. to the late Thomas Otto and Wilma Lee Benfield Clark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by agranddaughter, Jennifer Rowe, a sister, Mary Starnes and a brother, James Clark

Tommie was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness Hickory South and retired from the bookkeeping dept. of Howard Rowe and Sons Construction Company.

Surviving is her husband of 67 years, Howard Rowe of the home, two daughters, Sherry weaver of Newton, Jane Deaton of Morganton, a son, Dennis Rowe of Vale, four granddaughters, Leslie Weaver of Chapel Hill, Allison Weaver of Newton, Morgan Willford of Hickory, Bronwyn Crain of Greenville, NC a grandson, Clark Rowe of Hickory and three great grandchildren., .

Memorial services will be held on Friday April 20th, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Hickory Funeral Home with Brother William Workman officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday April 20th, 2012 from 1:45 until 2:45 at Hickory Funeral Home.
