Dorothy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a steadfast housewife who loved caring for her children and chasing around her grandkids. Formerly working in the hosiery industry, she loved getaways to the mountains of North Carolina with family and friends. In her spare time, she was an avid gardener of food and flowers, canning with the fruits of her labor and cooking for all those who would visit. Often involving her family in the production, her pies, soups, and pickles were enjoyed by many. She also enjoyed crafting, watching her daily visitors of wild birds, and tending to her late dog, a loving pug named Gracie who will be interred with her.
One of ten children, Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Jimmy Dean Hull; three brothers, an infant, James Lowell Hoyle and James Dennis Hoyle; and sisters, Mildred Hoyle Allen and Annie Ruth Green.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Christine Fulbright; son, Jimmy Lowell Hull and wife Sherry; grandchildren, Josh Fulbright and wife Tonya, Alisha Hull, Brittany Peregoy and husband Josh; great-grandchildren, Ryley Sorenson, Avery Fulbright, and Elliott Fulbright; step great-grandchild, Emery Peregoy; sister, Ruby May Hoyle; and brothers, Gary Hoyle, Bobby Ray Hoyle and Clyde Steve Hoyle.
