Deborah P. Rowe

Deborah was born November 2, 1953 in Iredell Co. to Teresa Phillips Houston and the late Reeves Junior Pennington. Also preceding her in death was two sisters, Mitzi Nix and Judy Pennington.

She was a member of Bright Light Tabernacle church and had worked in the furniture industry.

Surviving is her husband, Virl Steve Rowe of the home; her daughters, Tamara Day and husband, Sam Slape of Hickory, Ronda Kelly and husband, Lee of Conover and Stefanie Bowman of Hickory; seven grandchildren; her mother, Theresa Houston and husband, James of Hickory; her sisters, Sheila Minton and husband, Sydney of Icard and Patsy Smith and husband, Willard of Lenoir and her brother, Randy Pennington and wife, Kim of Conover.

Services will be Sunday, April 1, 2012, at 3:00 PM at Bright Light Tabernacle with the Reverend Ray York officiating.

Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:45 – 2:45 PM at the church.
