She was born on October 26th 1950 in Catawba County to Margie Lail Sigmon and the late Roswell Fredrick Sigmon.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving is her husband, David Martin “Marty” Baker, of the home, a daughter Natasha Baker of Conover, a son, Ryan Scott Hoke and wife Kimberly of Hickory, her mother Margie Lail Sigmon of Conover; grandchildren, Hailey and Corbin Hoke both of Hickory, Madden and Landon Adcock, both of Conover, a sister, Patty Queen and husband Sherwin, of Conover, a brother Darrell Sigmon and wife Libby, of Hickory, and four nieces, Taylor Queen of Richmond, Va., Mackenzie Queen of Boone, NC., Candace Fleming and husband John, of Washington, D.C., and Courtney Sigmon of Washington, D.C. her father and mother-in-law; Stan and Betty Baker of Hickory

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 7th 2010, at 3 P.M at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church with the Reverend Scott Bollinger officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 7th, 2010 from 1:45 P.M until 2:45 P.M at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.
