He was born January 24, 1960 in Iredell County, NC, and was the son of the late Carl Franklin and Frances Little Cloninger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Moore and Dwight Cloninger.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Barbara Cloninger; son, Allen Cloninger and wife Corynn; daughters, Carrigan Elizabeth Cloninger and step daughter, Alicia Dawn Mitchell; grandchildren, Nikkila, Jaiden, Dustin and Judah.
Funeral Services will be held at Catawba Funeral Home, Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2 pm with Pastor Chris Huffman officiating. Burial to follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm prior to the service.
