Hickory – Brady Linkous, Jr., 88 of Hickory went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Carolina Caring surrounded by his family.
Born on July 18, 1933 in Montgomery County, VA, he was the son of the late Brady Linkous, Sr. and Vera Scott Linkous. He served in the Korean War as a medic and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He was loved by his family and will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, Brady is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Joan Linkous.
He is survived by 2 sons, Brady C Linkous and wife, Karen, David Linkous and wife, Donna; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Catawba Memorial Park on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Paul Deal officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan’s Purse in Brady’s name.
