Ann Louella Middleton Powell, 75 of Connelly Springs, NC went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 11th, 2024 at Frye Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Born on December 6th, 1948 in Volusia County, Florida, Ann was the daughter of the late Calvine and Laura Middleton. Most of all, Ann loved the Lord. She loved to cook and catered many events over the years, as well as arranging flowers. Ann also volunteered at Burke Hospice & Palliative Care in Valdese. She was loved by her family friends and will be dearly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include, her husband of 51 years, Jerry Lee Powell, Sr. and her son, Jerry Lee Powell.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024 at 12:00 pm with Pastors Mike Lowman, Joe West and Jonathon Beam officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Ann’s name.
