It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Roberto Felipe, who left us on December 5, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on June 7, 1941, in Cuba, Roberto led a life full of resilience, determination, and courage.
Growing up in Cuba, Roberto faced many obstacles. Amidst the political turmoil and economic challenges, he demonstrated an unwavering strength of character. Despite the hardships of his early years, Roberto's desire for a better life never wavered. His determination to pursue freedom and opportunity eventually led him to leave his beloved homeland in search of a brighter future.
Arriving in the United States, he was confronted with new challenges: a foreign land, a new language, and the task of rebuilding his life from scratch. Yet, his resilience never faltered. He worked tirelessly to establish himself, finding strength in the lessons he learned from his experiences in Cuba and applying them to his new life in America.
Roberto’s story is one of triumph over adversity, a testament to the power of perseverance. His love for his family, his compassion for others, and his unwavering belief in the potential for a better tomorrow are qualities that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
While he will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing that Roberto’s legacy will endure in the stories he shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave. His spirit, filled with courage and resilience, will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Roberto will be laid to rest on December 9, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West Cemetery, 14001 N.W. 178 Street, Miami, Florida, 33018.
