With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Maria De Jesus Vila who left us on October 1, 2024, at the age of 96, in Hialeah, Florida.
Maria was born on August 28, 1928, in Cuba, where she spent the early years of her life before emigrating to the United States. She was a loving homemaker who dedicated her life to caring for her family with love, warmth, and devotion. Maria’s strength, grace, and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her generosity, and her deep love for her family and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 1:30 P.M. at San Lazaro Roman Catholic Church, 4400 West 18 Avenue, Hialeah, Florida, 33012.
Following the mass, Maria will be laid to rest at Vista Memorial Gardens, located at 14200 N.W. 57 Avenue, Miami Lakes, Florida, 33014.
Our dear Maria is now reunited with loved ones who have passed before her, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
