José Manuel Prendes, beloved patriarch of his family, passed away on April 13, 2025, in Jupiter, Florida, at the age of 96. Born in Cuba on April 10, 1929, José built a life defined by hard work, humility, and deep love for his family.
A skilled carpenter by trade, José was known for his craftsmanship, dedication, and hard work. He leaves behind a legacy that will continue to impact all who knew him. He leaves behind many who will miss him dearly including a host of family, friends, and loved ones.
An overnight Visitation will be held in his honor beginning at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, April 18, 2025, and continuing throughout the night until 9:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Caballero Rivero Hialeah Funeral Home located at 373 West 9 Street, Hialeah, Florida, 33010.
Jose will be laid to rest at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West Cemetery, 14001 N.W. 178 Street, Miami, Florida, 33018.
José’s life and legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He will be remembered with love and gratitude always.
