Harold J. Kaplan

He was born on July 9, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Long Island University, and Fordham University Pharmacy School. He married the former Madeline Berger on January 15, 1949. She survives. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack Kaplan and Eva Klionsky Kaplan.

Harold had a long career as the pharmacist/proprietor of Morton Pharmacy in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. He was a Mason and a member of Knights of Pythias. Harold was a long- time resident of North Woodmere, having moved there in 1961.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Nanette (Jonathan) Solomon of New Castle, Pennsylvania, Iris (Dan ) Rosenthal of Jericho, New York, and grandchildren Rachel Solomon, of Parma Heights, Ohio, Ben Solomon ( New York City), Jessica Rosenthal (New York City), and Michelle Rosenthal, a student at Emory College in Atlanta. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Manuel Kaplan, and is survived by a sister Selma Cohen of San Diego, California
