Sandra Lee Rivera

On Saturday, December 18, 2021, Sandra "Sandi" Lee Rivera, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away at the age of 65. Sandra was born March 19, 1956 to Rosalia and Daniel Torrez where she was joined by eight siblings (Roberto, Alicia, William, Annabelle, Daniel, Rosemarie, Michael and Jose). Sandra graduated from Barstow High School in 1974 and later married the love of her life, Robert Rivera. Together they had two children, RD and Ruben.

Early on, Sandra worked in the financial services industry where she not only made many of her lifelong friends, but also learned valuable skills which helped her become a savvy and successful businesswoman. Sandra loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family and friends and never hesitated to whip up something last minute for anyone who stopped by. One of her favorite activities was cooking for the community with her best friend, Gloria. Sandra's most memorable traits will always be her love of family, generous heart, strong faith and love of God. Sandra's greatest joy was time spent with her grandchildren who lovingly called her "Non."

Sandra's heart was broken when her husband, Robert passed away on May 25, 2018, but her family takes comfort knowing that they are together again. Sandra's love for her family will live on in her two sons and daughter In Law, RD and Ruben and Amber Rivera; grandchildren Rylie, Anika, Ezra and Elias. Love you forever!
