Rosalyn Marie Schultz

April 15, 1963 - November 12, 2024

Born in Madison, Wisconsin, she was the 4th child born of Harry C. Washington, Jr. and

Cynthia D. Walker-Washington-Gomez. Her brother, Clifton R. Washington, as well as the parents have preceded her, in death.

As a child, Rosalyn was taught ballet, and danced in several recitals. As a Military family, having resided at various military installments, she made friends quickly as she was very loving, and inquisitive. Baptized into The Church of Christ, her adult passion was following and teaching the scriptures of the Bible. She volunteered her time to the less fortunate, and often during winter months, she would purchase gloves, to pass out to the homeless.

She met and married her husband of 37 years, Timothy Schultz. They had a romance for a year and married on September 14, 1987. To this union one daughter, Contessa Gabrielle Chappelle-Schultz was born. She is the apple of their eyes. Contessa has extended the family with her own two children, Mikayla Rose Chappelle-Schultz and Jeremiah Gabriel Chappelle Williams. Rosalyn loved her family tremendously. The grandchildren lovingly called her Oma.

Left to cherish her memories are sisters Gaylyn Malone (Jessie dec.2018),

Luisa Gomez-Delio (Troy), Eva Gomez, Simone Rosenau, and Winter Washington-Pearce (Ben). Brother, Dr. Harry C. Washington III (Audrey). One Aunt, Trushania Daniel (Joe).

10 nephews, 4 nieces, a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.

Rosalyn was a light onto this earth. A Loving, living Angel. She is greatly missed.
