Maria Elena Padilla passed away peacefully on August 19th, 2024, at the age of 94. She was born on July 3rd, 1930, in Cuidad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Felix and Maria de Jesus. Maria Elena was the second youngest of six siblings. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Maria Elena; by her son-in-law, Fernando; her grandchildren, Adrian, Andrea, Daniel, David, and Carlos; her sister, Delia, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is proceeded by her husband, Federico Najera, mother, father, brothers, and sisters.
Maria Elena enjoyed taking long evening walks, playing canasta, solitaire, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her good sense of humor and her love of music.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to The Alzheimer’s Association (act.alz.org) in honor of Maria Elena Padilla’s memory.
