On Thursday, December 10, 2020 Craig Denton succumbed to complications arising from a hemorrhagic stroke he suffered on November 23, 2020. He passed away on December 10, 2020 surrounded by his family at his home in Hesperia, California. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Kern Mortuary of Hesperia.
He was born in Grants, New Mexico, spent his early years in Ventura, California and lived in Hesperia for the past 40 years
He is survived by his wife, Theresa, parents, Arnold and Shirley Denton of Ventura, California, daughters, Samantha Young, Brittney McKinley and Amber Hammer all of Hesperia, California, sons, Justin Denton and Jason Denton of Ventura, California.
He is also survived by in his 12 grandchildren ( in order of age)
Austin Wrigley, Harlan Denton, Miles Denton, Colt Young, Jocelyn Hammer, James Hammer, Oliver Young, Caspar Denton, Jake Denton, Emmitt Young, Maple Denton and Kera Denton.
His cremated remains will be laid to rest in a private ceremony on the grounds of the Denton family cabin in Wilsonia, California.
A "Celebration of Life" event will be held next year, after the country emerges from the Covid-19 pandemic. Details will be announced at a later date.
