Teresa Richards Martone

Teresa was born on February 4, 1930, in Waterbury, Connecticut, and was the youngest daughter of the late Louis and Maria Richards. She graduated from Wilby High School in Waterbury. She was married, in 1951, to the late Bruce B. Martone, also of Waterbury.

Teresa moved to Hopkinsville, Kentucky, with her husband, in 1978. Following his death in 1979, she moved to Southern California with her daughter. Prior to her retirement in 1989, she was the Executive Assistant to the President of Gulton Industries in Costa Mesa, California.

Teresa is survived by her daughter Dana Martone Wong (husband William) of Lake Las Vegas, Nevada, her son Scott Martone (wife Nancy) of Sacramento, California, her brother Louis Richards of Waterbury, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Domenic Richards, and three sisters: Mary Lionello, Julia Nole, and Rose Rinaldi.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at 11:30 am in Calvary Cemetery, 2324 E. Main Street, Waterbury, CT.
