Richard D. Becker

Richard D. Becker, age 84, of Henderson, Nevada passed away at home and surrounded by his family on Thursday July 11, 2019. Richard was born June 8, 1935 in Winona, Minnesota. At an early age, he was adopted and raised by parents Annie and George Becker in Luverne, Minnesota.

Richard, met and married the love of his life and soulmate, Rita May Madison, and began a wonderful Journey that would span for 60 years. Together, the couple raise their while living in Minnesota and Colorado, before retiring and settling in Henderson, Nevada.

Best known of his home building and carpentry skills, Richard also worked for many years as a stock broker. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, whom was devoted to his family and his countless pets. He was also a dedicated and passionate sports fan of the Notre Dame's Fighting Irish and the New York Yankees.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Rita M. Becker; children: Sherrie (Leoncio) Gil, Robyn Becker and Jason (Tammy) Becker: grandchildren: Leoncio (Lindsey) Gil, Julie Gil, Kevin Becker (Sierra Burton), Kylie Becker and Leah Becker; and great grandchildren: Daniel Gil, David Gil and Charlotte Gil.
