Randy William Griffin

Randy William Griffin, age 31, of Henderson, was tragically taken from us March 26, 2019 near Tropicana and Nellis Blvd. He was born November 9, 1987, at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada to his parents, Wayne Griffin Jr. and Angela McArdle.

Randy attended school in Southern Nevada and in New Jersey. While in New Jersey he was nicknamed Kid Vegas and the name followed him back to Las Vegas where many of his friends referred to him as such. Randy often worked in retail, his outgoing demeanor allowed him to be successful in that position. He also did odd jobs in which he liked best because it gave him the opportunity to work with his hands. Randy often helped random people in need of assistance with whatever tasks they couldn’t accomplish themselves; he found it rewarding to help those that perhaps didn’t have the ability to manage those things.

Randy was extremely outgoing, he enjoyed working with his hands and could fix nearly anything. He had of love of music, singing and song writing; he wrote a great number of songs, produced the music and sang the lyrics. He spent much of his time playing Frisbee golf and playing basketball; he was an exceptional athlete at both sports. He always found time for riding skateboards and riding bikes; he could manage amazing tricks on both; he was such a natural when it came to that sort of thing. Randy’s best attribute was he was a kind soul with a heart that knew no boundaries.

Randy is survived by his father, Wayne Jr.; mother, Angela ; son, Robert; daughter, Faith; siblings: Carly, Cody, Cippio, and Jordan; grandmother, Shirley; and many loving cousins, aunts and uncles; all of whom have played a huge role in Randy’s life and he loved them all.

Randy will forever be in our hearts and our memories…God bless.

A celebration of life for Randy will be held Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 303 S Cholla Street, Henderson, NV 89015.
