Michael May

Michael Dennis May, age 72, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021. He was born October 12, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to his parents Everett Paul May and Rosemary Jacob. Mike was raised with a Catholic background in Chicago. He graduated from Amundsen High School 1967.

Growing up, Mike was always interested in automobiles and automobile repairs. His love of them extended into his early jobs; working in several car dealerships in the Chicagoland area, as both a salesman and with repairs. He was also an entrepreneur in his own way. Later, he owned and operated an auto body repair shop, and was also was a partial-owner of a neighborhood tavern where he made many lifelong friends.

During working career, Mike also worked for the City of Chicago's Public Works, and where he retired from in 2002.

Mike met his wife, Judy, in October of 1991, and they were wed on April 9, 1994. In 2018, Mike and Judy moved to Henderson, and lived until Mike's passing.
