Dorothy was born to Emma P. “Molly” (Wild) and Arthur K. Lahne Jr. on December 11, 1933, in Peoria, Ill.
She graduated from Chillicothe Township High School in 1951. She married Charles Droll on May 21, 1962 in Peoria, Illinois.
Dorothy worked as a keypunch operator for Caterpillar Tractor Company/ CAT in Illinois and as a traveller’s aide/sitter for the Granny Company in Arizona.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joyce A. Rashid. She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Droll and her son, Michael L.Droll (Molly); grandsons, Karl Droll and Mark Droll; her cousin, Roland Lahne (Mary), her nephews Gregory Rashid, Jeffrey (Susan) Rashid, William (Ann) Bornsheuer, Daniel (Jackie) Defoe and Craig DeFoe (Dawn); and, her nieces Susan Rashid and Sherry Goff, and; their families.
Funeral service will be private.
