Vincent (Vince) Difatta was born July 19, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Salvatore and Mary (nee Collaro). Passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the age of 93, with family at his side. Vince grew up in Chicago and a graduate of McKinley High School. Shortly after high school he met a woman, and with that first look, he said, "his brain went crazy." Vince was a Korean War Veteran, proud to serve his country. A lifelong fan of the Chicago Sports Teams: Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks and Bears. Lived in Illinois for his first 50 years and in California for the next 43 years, until the time of his death, a resident of "The Club" community in Menifee. Vince had a tremendous fondness for all his friends and poker buddies at "The Club." He spent 68 years with the love of his life, his Beloved, late Sarah (nee Pirolli). Devoted father to Salvatore (Christina), MaryTheresa (Chris) DiCola, and the late Nicholas. Cherished Papa to grandchildren Sarah (Matt) Smith, Anthony, Michael (Julie), Nicolette (Mike) Galazkiewicz, and Vincent. Cherished Papa to great-grandchildren Alina Difatta, James Difatta, and Mikey Galazkiewicz. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.
