Terry Bernice Baker, 90 of Hemet, California passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015. She was born Wednesday, September 24, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Edward and Bernice " Savitski " Franz. She was married to the love of her life, Fred Baker for over 70 years before he passed away January 5, 2009. Terry was a avid shuffle board player and considered quite good. She was a member of many co-ed teams in the local area. Terry was often asked for lessons on how to make the disc perform so well. She loved to play cards, bingo at the American Legion, Post 53 and the Colony. Terry and Fred did a lot of traveling throughout the United States in their RV visiting many unusual and wonderful places. Another favorite place during her travels was Italy. Her family describes her as competitive, friendly, very much a lady, having a good sense of humor, happy and gentle. Surviving is her son Fred Baker II and his wife Cindy, daughter, Jill Getzan and her husband Greg. Surviving grandchildren are Dawn Garrett, Grant Getzan, Mariah Baker, Josh Baker and Sierra Baker. Services will be private.
