Born Tuesday, March 29, 1938 in Woodstock, Vermont, he was the son of the late Harry Wyatt and the late Kathryn (LaMountain) Wyatt. He was the husband of Carol (Boyer) Wyatt.
Robert moved to Hemet, California in 1954 and attended Hemet High School where he played for the football and baseball teams. It is also where he met the love of his life, Carol, whom he was married to for 60 years. He graduated from Hemet High in 1958 and married Carol in 1959. He graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 1962 with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture services and inspection.
Following graduation, he was employed as an Agricultural Inspector with the Orange County Agriculture Commissioner’s Office before retiring after 32 years of service.
Robert loved to travel with Carol in their RV; they were full-time RVers for 12 years. They travelled all over the country and visited every state in the U.S., and they took road trips into Mexico and Canada. They were also camp hosts at Lake Skinner located in western Riverside County, California, just outside the city of Temecula.
Robert was a dedicated L.A. Dodgers fan, and he also enjoyed watching college football.
Surviving is wife, Carol Wyatt, sons, Eric (Marisa) Wyatt (Placentia, CA) and Brian Wyatt (Gilbert, AZ), sisters, Marian Bailey, Rebecca Atilano and Mary Tompkins, brothers, Jim Wyatt and Richard Wyatt, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Lisa Laird.
