Rachael Rugh

Born December 2, 1927. She was the wife of Alvin Rugh, who passed away in October 2010. They were married in 1946.

Rachael grew up in DuBois, PA. She was a graduate of Sandy Township High School class of 1945. She worked many years for Brockway Glass Company, until she moved with her family to California in 1959.

They lived in Lakewood, for many years where she was a bookeeper for J.C.Penny for 20 years. After retirement, they moved to Sun City and most recently to Hemet. She loved to cook and was an excellent baker and candy maker. Reading was her passion.

She was a faithful member of Faith Lutheran Church in Sun City, where she belonged to the Ladies Circle.

Surviving her is her daughter, Susan and her sister Dorothy Bedelyon of Lewistown, PA. Her sister Ruth, preceded her in death. Also, surviving her are Glenda Epps, Joy Moberg and Sarah Woodcock, who were like daughters to her. Many relatives and friends mourn her passing.

Memorial services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery.
