Michael Earnest Mc Calister

Michael E McCalister was born September 5th, 1946, in St. Petersburg Florida to Ernest McCalister and Sadie Ray. He grew up in Largo Florida. He graduated from Largo High School. After graduation he enlisted in the Marine Corp. While in he served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Barrett McCalister, 6 children John Firth, Temre Potter, Brandon Firth, Eric McCalister Shannon Clawson and Jason McCalister. 17 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. His siblings, Billy McCalister, Velma Mcdonald, Martha Denton and Carol Becker. He was preceded in death by his sister Shirley. Mike loved to hunt, fish and ride his horses. He was a team penner and a team roper and loved his horses and his dog Remy. Mike was a family man and truly loved his family. He was happiest when the family got together for BBQ's.

Eternal rest grant unto O Lord and Perpetual light shine around him. May he rest in peace.
