Mary Romo

On January 12 2021 Mary Romo passed away peacefully at the age of 89. Mary was born Dec. 7 1931 in Jalisco Mexico. She came to the US as a young woman, she was so proud of the day she became an American citizen. She was married to Jesse Romo who preceded her in death in 1995. Mary loved her family, her blessings as she would say. She is survived by 2 daughters, Freda Romo and Lourdes Ontiveros, and a son James Romo, she also had 7 step children she loved dearly. She was a loving grandmother to 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Mary lived with her daughter Freda And son in law Rod Romo, she loved gardening, attending her chickens, helping in everything she could, she loved the outdoors, she also made sure anyone who visited her got a little probiotic drink as she would call it or a yogurt, she loved cooking and sharing everything she made. Her favorite tv program was touched by an Angel and little house on the prairie. Her main passion was reading her bible and listening to worship music. She loved God with all her heart and soul and made sure to share her faith and testimony to everyone she met. Mary was full of life and loved unconditionally up until the day the Lord took her home, she will be missed tremendously by her family and everyone who knew her.
