LaVon Allen Wright Jr., was born on September 15, 1976 from the union of LaVon Sr., and Kim Wright. LaVon Jr., grew up in South Central Los Angeles on Hickory Street with his mother Kim, grandmother Helen, aunts Tonya, Jamie, Boo, uncles Valencio, George and big brother Earl, his great-grandmother Lucile (aka Nana) on his Father’s side, lived right around the corner on Croesus Avenue; LaVon Jr. and his big brother Earl visited her every day, LaVon Jr. spent time with his father, step-mother Vivian and new additions to his family brothers Damion, DaVon and sister Jacqueline. LaVon Jr., grew up around plenty of family.
LaVon Jr. attended St. Lawrence Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Junior High and Jordan High school; it was there he met Tammy Burrell, the mother of his oldest son LaVon A. Wright III.
An incident lost LaVon Jr. a significant portion of time in his life where he was trying so hard to make up. He again stayed with his father and step-mom Dichondra, helping him gain traction in life. LaVon Jr. had Great relationships with his Uncle Lawrence, Aunt Tina, Great Aunt JoAnn and all his Great Aunts, Great Uncles, first cousins, Second cousins, nieces and nephews. LaVon Jr. and his Great Aunt JoAnn grew very close, he stay with her before he moved to Texas.
When LaVon Jr. found out his Mother was very sick he raced to Texas, to be at her bed side, like any good son. LaVon Jr. assisted his mother with medical needs, her business and day to day needs until she got better; they were like two pees in a pot, Lavon Jr. loved his Mom and she loved him.
While living in Texas LaVon Jr. met Monica Murray, they got married and began a life together. They both had a child in previous relationships; LaVon Jr. having an older son LaVon 3th and Monica having an older son, Monyea. On February 3, 2014 a new addition was born to their family a shinning bright light, Mathias Wright and they became the perfect blended family.
In 2019 LaVon Jr. and Monica Wright separated, leaving LaVon Jr. torn, he sought guidance through meditation and prayer. LaVon Jr. told his mom and called his father, telling them he’s moving back to California. He called his Great Aunt JoAnn and she opened her arms and her home.
