He was born on the island of Guam in 1945. John served in the Army and stationed in Germany, where he awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He worked for many years for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Guam as a K-9 Customs Officer. He retired from King Bearing as a Senior Supervisor; John continued to work there as a contractor until March 2020.
John spent most of his free time following his favorite baseball team, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Mr. Flores is survived by his wife, Mary Flores; sister, Rosie Flores; brother, Frank Flores; two sons, John Flores II of Guam; and Kenneth Muna of Alabama; two daughters, Jacqueline Botello of California, and Melissa Muna of Washington; twenty grandchildren, Nolan Muna, Samantha Botello, Steven Botello, Jr., Joseph Botello, Landon Hartop, Shaylee Hartop, Kenneth Muna Jr., Aubriana Muna, Kilee Muna, Patrick Muna, Matthew Muna, John Flores III, Luke Flores, Christian Flores, Tyler Flores, Jordan Flores, Michael Flores, Brandon Flores, Gabriel Flores, and Isabella Flores; and two great grandchildren, Alyssa-Marie Muna, and Andrew Muna.
