Glenn Nelson Crowl, 91 of Hemet, California passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015, at Christmas Cottage in Hemet, California. He was born on Thursday, June 26, 1924, he was the son of the late Glenn and Esther "Rice " Crowl. He was married to the love of his life, Zona "Hughes" Crowl for 69 years. Glenn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hemet for over 25 years. He was very friendly and knew many people. He worked in the oil industry as an accountant for over 35 years before he retired. Glenn and Zona loved to travel and visited many of the states in the US in their RV. He enjoyed playing golf and was able to make a hole in one at Seven Hills Golf Course in Hemet. He liked to work with his hands and considered himself a wood worker. He made furniture and toys for the grand kids Glenn was known to have a fondness for toffee-ettes at See's candies and peanut butter cookies. His family describes him as loving, generous , a story teller and a great guy. Glenn served as a Tec4 in the Army during World War II.
Surviving are sons, Greg Crowl and his wife Mary ,Grant Crowl, brother, Dick Crowl and his wife Vera; 1 grandchild Ben Crowl and his wife Becky, 2 great grandchildren Colter and Madison Crowl.
