Fidel V. Valenzuela, 76 of Moreno Valley, California was called to be with the Lord on Monday, March 31, 2014, in Long Beach, California. Fidel was the youngest of 10 children born on Friday, July 2, 1937, to the late Francisco Valenzuela and the late Leonor Valenzuela.
Fidel worked in the construction industry for 45 years building farm irrigation canals. Working with his hands was very important to him and he enjoyed welding and working on cars. Fidel also enjoyed off-roading, fishing, and gardening.
Fidel is preceded by his son Daniel Valenzuela.
Surviving is his wife, Guille Valenzuela; son, Fidel H. Valenzuela & daughter-in-law, Melinda; daughter, Mayra Espinoza Valenzuela; grandchildren, Scott, Steve, Nicole, Brandon, Karina, and Jazmin; great-grandchildren, Victor, Ruben, Bryan, Bryanna, Destanie, Alfredo, Brayleen and Jezziah; caregiver/adopted son, Frank Federico; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
