Born Friday, January 3rd, 1936 in West Virginia, he was the son of Orville Thompson and Rose Tarsoly Thompson.
Alex was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Donna Sanders Thompson. He is survived by his three sons, Philip Thompson, Douglas (Brenda) Thompson, and Brian (Lisa) Thompson; grandson, Douglas Jr., and granddaughter, Hayley.
Alex was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many. He was also a United States Navy veteran who served his country proudly. He will be truly missed by all those who knew him.
A burial service is scheduled for Friday, February 24th, at 11:01 AM, at Riverside National Cemetery.
