Adrienne C. Johnson, 90, of Hemet, CA passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at her home in Hemet. Born on November 22, 1922 in Winona, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Klonowski.
A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Adrienne served during World War II. In 1945, she met the love of her life, Ralph B. Johnson. They were married in December of that year; shortly thereafter they came to California to start their family. Adrienne was a full-time mother until she began her 20-year career as a Budget Officer for the Sequoia Union High School District. She was highly organized and was an immaculate housekeeper. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, leisure reading, and traveling.
Ralph, her husband of 62 years, died in 2008. Adrienne is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Studinski; son-in-law, George Studinski; cousins Skip and Rene Thrune, and Delores Lau; loyal caregivers, Jerioth Mathenge and Rhonda Randolph; and countless friends at Sunwest Village.
Adrienne's Funeral Mass with be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 780 S. State St., Hemet, CA 92543. She will be privately and respectfully laid to rest with her husband at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any of several charities: Paralyzed Veterans of America, Fisher House, Injured Marines Semper Fi Fund, Catholic Charities, Catholic Relief Services, or another of your choice.
