BENNETT, Michael Benjamin, Age 40. Michael passed peacefully on November 22, 2024, following a year-long illness, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Son of Belle Bennett Cole, Harold Bennett (1937-98), and Harvey Cole; brother of Elizabeth (James) Greene, Ethan Bennett, Alissa (David) Hersh, and Jacob (Lori) Bennett; and beloved uncle to eight nieces and nephews. Michael cherished his second family at the Chapel Haven Schleifer Adult Independent Living (SAIL) Center, where he lived for the past 20 years. We are devastated by his untimely passing and will forever cherish our memories of Michael’s enduring smile, mischievous eyes, and joy for life.
Funeral services will be conducted on November 25, 2024, at 11 AM, at Riverside Chapel, 100 Saw Mill River Rd., Hawthorne, NY 10532.
