William “Gary” Colley, 62, of Benton, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 after a courageous battle with COVID. He was born in Shreveport on August 11, 1958. Gary graduated from Benton High School in 1977.
Gary was a machinist for Branton Oil Tools and had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with friends at his deer camp and was the best crawfish boiler in town. He was a hard working man who loved God, his family and his friends passionately.
Gary is survived by his fiancé, Tina Davidson, soon to be step-daughters Kristy and Stephanie, and grandchildren Taylor, Grace, Kaden, Kyle and Ava, his sisters, Sondra Colley Crager and husband Gerald, Donna Colley Looper and Terri Colley Scott, nieces Sharon, Shannon, Michelle, Tonya, Ashley and nephew Danny Jr. He was preceded in death by his daughter Casey Colley, his parents Noah and Sybil Colley, loving grandparents Nannie and Poppe- Vernon and Maebelle Smith, sister Janice Colley Keating and niece Kelli.
Honorary pallbearers will be George Wine, Tommy Woodard, Mike Walker, James Stickell and Chad Wine.
Funeral services for Gary Colley will be held at 4:00 p.m. on January 19, 2021 in the Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held prior to service time at 3:00 p.m.
