Walter J Brown

Mr. Brown was a retired Air Force Veteran who loved gardening and growing vegetables. He loved woodworking, building ornate projects, traveling and hiking with his lovely wife Dee.

Left to cherish Mr. Brown's memory is his wife, Marquetta "Dee" Brown; son, Steven Brown and his wife Reyna; daughter, Barbara Cruz and her husband John; grandson, Christopher Cruz; granddaughter, Kari McMillian and her husband Chris; great-granddaughter, Rylee McMillian; and sister, Jennie Brothers and her husband Johnny.

Mr. Brown is preceded in death by his father, Arsene Doland Brown and mother, Gladys Juanita Brown.

A visitation for Walter will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 Highway 80 East, Haughton, Louisiana 71037, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. A graveside service with military honors will immediately follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
