Services to honor the life of Mr. Thomas Daniel Ray, 76, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. All are invited to share fond memories and a light meal with the family during the time of visitation.
Thomas was born on April 5, 1940, and passed away on August 22, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elisha Daniel and Margaret Eskew Ray; his son, Ricky Lee Ray; and his sister, Shirley Perot. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 33 years, Hilda Ray; daughters, Penny Ray and Elaine Ray Delacruz and husband Edwin; brothers, David Roepke and wife Diane, and Larry Roepke; grandchildren, Shaun Mrozek, Sommer Robert, Robert Delacruz, Kathy Robinson, and Edward Delacruz; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
