Shirley Ealy Cleveland Briggs

She was baptized and accepted Christ at a young age while attending Wesley Chapel CME. She later united with Haughton Church of God in Christ where she served faithfully for many years.

She attended Princeton High School, where she met and married Lytton Cleveland, Jr. "Joe". To their union six (6) children were born and they remained married for 42 years.

Later in life, she met and married Herman Briggs.

Left to cherish her memories are: her daughters, Shirl, Shonda (Jonathan); her sons, Stephon, Lytton III "Shan", Jeremy (Tandika), and Jason (Lashaderia); 25 grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; two brothers, Ambrose Ealy, Jr., Sidney Ealy; four sisters, Lemoria Williams, Gracie Bryant, Evie Hubbard, Demchirtas Ruffin (Johnny Ray); and a multitude of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration Of Life will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 15, 2024 within the Chapel of Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 Hwy 80 E., Haughton, LA, with Pastor Ladell presiding.
