Sandra Lee Gutierrez

BOSSIER CITY, LA – Services to celebrate the life of Sandra “Sandy” Lee Gutierrez will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 12 2014, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Brent Shoalmire of Open Door Bible Church. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

In the early morning of February 9, 2014 Sandy Gutierrez went to be with her heavenly father, comforted by her loving husband, Andy Gutierrez, at Promise Hospital in Bossier City, LA. Sandy was 67 yrs. old. She was born in El Dorado, AR on January 17, 1947. She was the only child of Richard and Loreacy Clawson.

Sandy grew up in Smackover, AR. Although she didn't have any siblings, she often talked about happy memories she made with family, friends and her honorary brother Tim Scott. Later she moved to Bossier City, LA. There she married and had two children, Kevin Chesney Sr. of Blanchard, LA and Amber Raines of Gray, TX. For 24 yrs. she worked at the Western Electric Plant in Shreveport, LA. In 1994 she retired. Once she retired she enjoyed many years with her grandchildren.

Sandy is preceded in death by her mother, Loreacy Clawson; grandparents, George and Oma Clawson; her aunts, Lucille Berry and Lucille Richie.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Andy Gutierrez; her children, Kevin Chesney Sr. and Amber Raines; grandchildren: Kevin Chesney Jr., Aubrie Raines, Lexi Raines, Hailey Raines, and Michael Raines Jr.; her father, Richard Clawson, along with loved aunts, uncles and cousins.
