Robert K. "Bob" Spears

Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Alice; daughter, Theresa Nichols, wife of Shay Nichols; and grandson, Seth Nichols of Ruston, LA. He is also survived by his son, Kevin Spears, his wife Micah; grandchildren, Steven, Elizabeth and Isabella. Bob’s son, Paul, predeceased him on January 14th of this year. Bob is also survived by his sisters, Shirley M. Parker of Fairfield, CA, Elizabeth Siefker of LaPorte, IN; one brother, John Spears of Houston, TX, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Bob was a loving husband, father, and faithful Catholic his entire life. He was an accountant during his working years. Bob loved camping, traveling, fishing and cruises. He also enjoyed bowling, dancing and having a good time. He will be missed by family and friends.

We wish to thank Dr. Sally S. Ball, and the services of Regional Hospice Care Group, for the quality of comfort and care they provided to Bob.

Services will be held in the chapel of Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m, Wednesday, April 12th, with inurnment to follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. A reception will follow at the home of good friends, Joe and Evalee Williams.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Holy Angels Residential Facility, 10450 Ellerbe Road, Shreveport, LA 71106 would be appreciated.
