Richard Aaron Starnes Sr.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Georgia Ann Starnes, whom he married in 1987. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Clark, his brother, Jessie Smith, Jr., and his brother Ronald Smith. Richard is survived by his brother, Roswell "Rudy" Smith, Sr (spouse Linda), his sister, Mary Branch, and his sister, Norma Morris, and his sister Jessie "Cynthia" Perkins. Richard is also survived by his four children: Richard Aaron Starnes Jr. (spouse Leslie), Broderick Starnes, Laquita Joyner (spouse Anthony), and Allegra Marshall. Richard was a devoted father, grandfather, and uncle to his thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Richard proudly served in the Army and later worked at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Bossier City, Louisiana, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his country, and his work.

We bid farewell to a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Richard Starnes, Sr. will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
