Mark Alan Spataro, 71, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, after a sudden illness. He was born in Bossier City, Louisiana on September 16, 1953, to Camile and Mary Spataro.
A graduate of Bossier City Airline High School, he resided in Shreveport-Bossier until his recent move with his significant other Donna to Chandler, Texas. An avid fan of football - especially LSU Tigers and Dallas Cowboys - He enjoyed fishing, hunting, rodeo, and riding his Harley. Mark earned his living in the timber and oil industries. Later in life, the sporting events of grandson Conner were what he most looked forward to every weekend.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Camile J. Spataro and mother, Mary R. Spataro. Left to cherish his memory is son, Justin and wife Kristen Spataro; grandchildren Conner and Camryn Spataro; his Significant other Donna Kirchoff; siblings Sherry Roberts and Kirk Spataro; nephews Todd Roberts and Blake Spataro; niece Lauren Clements; and half brother Ron Spataro.
"Grandpa" will be more than merely missed by Conner, Camryn, and all others who knew and loved him. A visitation will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Hillcrest Memorial in Haughton, LA.
