Marie Eilsabeth Moeller Wilson of Haughton, Louisiana was born in Furtenhagan, Germany on June 6, 1928. She passed away peacefully at Willis Knighton Bossier from a long battle with heart disease. She was 94 years old.
Services in her honor will begin with a Visitation between 1 – 2 pm; followed by the Funeral at 2:00 pm; concluding with Interment, with Hugo Holland, presiding. Each will occur Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Hill Crest in Haughton, LA.
She leaves behind a daughter, Sharon E. Wilson-Foy, married to Ret. U.S. Navy Officer, John W. Foy, Jr., their three boxers, Kornelius, Koko and mama Shadow, together with a rescue, Koreline and kitten, Koby Bryant. She also leaves behind her most favorite niece and godchild, Irmtraudt Barth, married to Fred Barth and sons Gunther Barth and wife, Floriun, and Andreas Barth of Germany, brothers, Lothar and wife Barbel and sons, Stephan Moeller and Ingo Moeller of Germany & brother Willie Moeller and wife, Rosie Moeller, son, Niko of Germany, and daughters, Martina Moeller and Manuela Moeller of Germany.
Ms. Marie is predeceased in death by her husband of fifty three years, Ret. U.S. Air Force C/MSgt., David J. Wilson, and five year old daughter, Diana Marie Wilson together with numerous sisters, Dina Blumenstein Moeller of Germany, Ilse Gerlach Moeller of Germany, Anna Moeller of Belgin, together with numerous pets, namely, their miniature border collie, Trixie and Scottish Terrier, Penny.
Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, baking, complaining, cleaning, organizing and being one of the most adored neighbors in Dogwood Park. Don't get on her bad side though because, she knew how to stand her ground, too! We all loved that about her. She will be truly missed and her many stories of wartime and meeting the love of her life, David, will always be remembered and forever cherished.
