Laurie McClain

Laurie loved her family and babysitting. She was a loving wife, loving mother and a mother to all.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald W. and Velda R. Gates and brother, Michael A. Gates.

Laurie is survived by her husband Richard McClain; sons, Colton McClain (fiancée Catie), Ryan McClain (fiancée Shauna and her daughter Nevaeh); daughter, Lauren McClain; sister, Terry Irvin; brother, Freddie Gates; grandson, Hudson McClain and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel in Haughton, Louisiana from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.

The Funeral will occur at 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 14, 2022. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Pallbearers are Colton McClain, Ryan McClain, Cayden Hinkie, Bryson Hinkie, Jeremy Gates and Dustin Gates.
