A Celebration of Life Service will be held for George Ray Melton on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.in the Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, August 30, 2010 beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time of
service. Bro. Frank Himmell will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
George was an elder at Viking Drive Church of Christ. He enjoyed being with his family, fishing, hunting, and being involved in church activities especially if it included eating.
He is survived by his wife Mary Louise Melton, daughter, Judy Hunt and three grandchildren, Phillip, Justin and Laura Candella.
Pallbearers will be Howard Moore, Bruce Williams, Rawland Daniel, Wil Atwood, J.B. Williams, Hurst Hagler, Gary Hagler, and Wayne Carr.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
