Mr. Leach served in the United States Air Force for 23 years, earning the title of Master Sergeant Leach. After his many years of service, he went on to work for the United States Postal Service for an additional ten years before retiring completely. In his free time, Mr. Leach had a love for music and could often be found singing. He was a fun loving individual and an absolute delight to be around. He never met a stranger, and had an infectious smile, the kind that could naturally light up a room. Mr. Leach was an honorable man who would always stand up for what was right. He was deeply loved by his family and friends, and he will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Mr. Leach joins in Heaven his parents, James and Hazel Leach, and his son, Jeffrey Leach.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Betty Leach; sons, John Leach, Jerry Leach, Jimmy Leach and his wife, Ann, and Jay Leach; step-son, John Hagan; grandchildren, Tiffany Leach, Courtney Harben, and Jeffrey Stone Leach, Jatoya, James Brandon, Justin Ryan, and Michelle Nichole; and sister, Dionne Vargo.
A visitation for Buck will be held Friday, October 4, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 US Highway 80 East, Haughton, LA 71037. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
