HAUGHTON, LA - Services for Donald Ray Baird, 60, will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Officiating the service will be Allen Tillman. Visitation will be held on July 13, 2011 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Donald passed away on July 9th, 2011 after a valiant 5 year battle with cancer. He never lost sight of his humor or faith. He lived a rich life full of love, compassion and devotion. He dedicated 31 years to KCS RR.
Survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Joy; daughters, Tammy Sadler and husband Brian, Davonna Ryan and husband Jody; and honorary son Eric, five grandchildren, Hunter, Autumn, Jake, Noah and Carley.
Pallbearers will be Billy Baird, Bobby Baird, Brian Sadler, Jody Ryan, Butch Harmon, and Eddie Denton. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Ibberson.
