Mrs. Adams was formerly of Minden, and longtime resident of Shreveport-Bossier. She was born in the Philippines on September 2, 1953. Carolyn came from a military family so she was able to live all over the world. She loved spending time with her family and her favorite baby and furry friend, Mocha.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodger Adams; brothers, John Higgins II, and Michael Higgins; and sister-in-law, Bunny Higgins.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Marjorie Edmiston (Robert Bruce) and Christina Cobb (Douglas Cobb); grandchildren, Caleb Edmiston and Madison Cobb; great grandchild, Willow Cobb; brothers, Edwin Higgins, Donald Higgins, Kenneth Higgins (Sherry), Douglas Higgins (Mary Ann); and sister-in-law, Virginia Stephenson; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held to celebrate Carolyn's life at 3:00 pm on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
