HAUGHTON LA- Services for Carol Elaine Richardson Bartley, 53, will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bro. David Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Haughton Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Carol was born on September 26, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas and passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on April 20, 2013. She was a wonderful and loving daughter, wife, mother, aunt and friend to so many. Everyone’s life that she touched was blessed just for knowing her. She was preceded in death by her father, Deane Richardson and her brother Larry Richardson. She is survived by her mother, June Richardson; her loving husband, Marc; sister, Deanna Martinez; brother, Donald Richardson; son, Marc Bartley and fiancée Chelsea Saunders; son, Matthew Bartley and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was an inspiration and loving example to all around her. Even though her death is a victory to God, it leaves us all with a void we know not how to fill.
