Brad served 20 years in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the 96th Bomb Squadron, 608th Air Combat Communication Squadron, 1st Combat Communication Squadron and 97th Communications Squadron. After retiring from the Air Force, Brad spent many years working civilian contracts in support of the military. He worked for companies including Vykin Corporation, General Dynamic Information Technology and Koniag Government Services. Brad won several awards throughout his life such as 2011 Vykin Employee of the Year for Leadership, NCO of the year 1994, Meritorious Service Medal 2005, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Force Communication Medal 1992-2002, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal 2001, and many other medals and awards.
Brad was an excellent guitar player and loved listening to music, fishing, biking and spending time with his family. He loved to learn and could often be found reading and watching videos to learn more about cloud computing and networking.
Brad joins in Heaven his parents, James and Betty Stevens. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Regina Stevens; daughter, Courtenay Dean and her husband Trey of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Marianne Hansel and her husband Bill of Shreveport, LA; son, Bradley Stevens of Bossier City, LA; son, Trevor Stevens of Bossier City, LA; son, Darrius Stevens of Shreveport, LA; son, Seth Stevens of Bossier CIty, LA; son, Kyle Stevens of Arizona; grandchildren Khloe, Luke, Bradley, Grayson and Samuel; brother, Mickey Stevens and his wife Nancy of Arkansas; brother, Daniel Stevens of Louisiana; brother, Chris Stevens and his wife Destini of Arkansas; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation for Bradley will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 12pm until 2pm at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 Highway 80 East, Haughton, Louisiana 71037. A Rosary will occur Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 2pm, 601 Highway 80 East, Haughton, Louisiana 71037 lead by the Very Reverend Monsignor Rothell Price. Graveside services will immediately follow services at Hill Crest Memorial Park, 601 Highway 80 East, Haughton, Louisiana 71037.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Brad's honor to Disabled American Veterans or the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
