Anabell Christian Passaniti was born March 12, 1951, in Magnolia, Arkansas to Mack Reed Christian and Elizabeth Ann Dodson Christian. She went to be in the arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 6, 2021 at her home in Shreveport.
Anabell is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Judy. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Randy Passaniti, brother and sister-in-law Mack (Mickey) Reed Christian, Jr. and his wife Susan, brothers-in-law, Anthony Passaniti and Joseph Passaniti and his wife Janet and several nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Magnolia High School, Magnolia, Arkansas in 1969 and studied further at Northwestern State University, earning an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1974. She served as an R.N. at Schumpert Hospital, Highland Hospital, Willis-Knighton Hospital and the Veterans Administration Hospital in Shreveport - truly with a servants' heart for her patients.
A faithful and much loved member of Woodridge Baptist Church, Anabell will always be remembered for her smile. She will be sorely missed by the Encouragers Class of which she was an active member and enjoyed sweet fellowship.
Truly pursuing the Christian walk, Anabell lived a quiet and peaceable life. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life - going to church, plays, movies, visiting other cities and towns in the area, going on drives and shopping at her favorite clothing stores ("goofing" to Anabell) as well as taking walks and working in her yard.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 13 at 1:00 p.m. with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home - 601 Highway 80 East, Haughton, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Chuck McInturf, pastor of Woodridge Baptist, will officiate.
Honoring Anabell as pallbearers will be Billy Ebarb, Mike Foisy, Randy Jividen, Brian Prucey, Bill Ricketts and Pat Yates.
